This blog is a tribute to the resurrection of all things thrift, second-hand, vintage, discarded, retro, and forgotten. This blog would take 1970s Gucci over Ganesh. If it were a person it would have lurex hair and sequin skin and it would be wearing your nana's thanksgiving sweater. It is concerned with the out-of-place, the unexplained, and that which is so godawfully hideous it approximates the sublime. It chronicles the elegance in simplicity. It praises recycling, but it loves trash. This blog is trashy. It will take you to the past and to the future, and to visions of the future from the past. It will never lie to you about your new haircut. It will always do the right thing. It will make the inevitable headache you get after leaving the goodwill bins worth it.
